I started Vouched Books to promote the small press movement and community in Indianapolis. I believe small presses are putting out some of the most current and important writing being done today, and unfortunately, it’s about as heard of as a whisper.

This isn’t to say all small press lit is great, nor that all big house lit is trash. Big houses put out plenty of great writing, but they also have the money to market it, unlike most small presses, many of which are just one or two people working out of their apartment with a copy of Adobe CS.
